Experience the Mojave Desert your way with our self-guided UTV/SXS rentals. Enjoy the freedom to explore open trails, breathtaking views, and hidden gems — all on your own schedule. We’ll provide the equipment, maps, and safety gear — you bring the adventure!

OFF-ROAD FOR EXPERIENCED SXS riders IN THE MOJAVE DESERT

This is not the best option for every rider and it is not nearly as popular as our Guided Tours. But, if you are a responsible, experienced, Off-Roader that knows their way around the desert and how unpredictable it can be, and will remain hyper-focused for the entire duration of the rental, literally from start to finish – the Self Guided option may be the right choice for you.
Drivers must be at least 25 years old with a valid license. Passengers must be 14 or older, accompanied by a parent or guardian, and at least approximately 54 inches tall.
All passengers must be able to sit with feet firmly planted on the floorboard, seated all the way back in the seat back and able to reach the bar in front
After you Check-In & participate in the Safety Briefing- which is the most important component to us here at Vegas Off Road Tours – you will be assigned a SXS Off Road RZR/Vehicle.
Your time doesn’t start until you drive out of our Base Camp. 🙂
You will depart our facility in your UTV right on to the trail, which is awesome!
There are nearly 400 miles of trails, hills and mountains to explore.
Your UTV will have Ride Command Navigation in dash and an emergency beacon transponder

We provide the required DOT helmet & eye protection for all of our renters.
Rental pick up is by appointment/online reservation: 10:00 am or 12:00 pm, Sunday 11:00am – at our Base Camp address: 21016 South Las Vegas Blvd, Jean ,NV 89019
We are located approximately 30 minutes South of the Strip.
Self Guided renters meet us at our Base Camp where we have *free parking!
If you require a special pick up please contact customer service by phone, and we might be able to pick you up in our Shuttle.(small fee)
Riders must be at least 14-years-old, and accompanied by a Parent or Guardian
Must have a Valid ID/Passport to be an Adult Passenger, please.
We will check you in, using your license and place a hold on your credit card for the deposit.
Return the UTV undamaged please, and it can be as dusty and dirty as you like.

Self-guided rentals range from 1 to 8 hours, depending on the time of year. For safety, all rides must return before dark.

SOME Recommendations in prepERATIOn for the rental:

Closed-toe shoes are mandatory all year round, for every guest please.
Helmets and Eye protection goggles are provided. Riders should wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts for sun protection.
Shorts are okay, but we strongly encourage pants & UPF protective clothing during the hotter months and warm layered clothing during colder months.
Backpacks can be helpful to stow loose items. Bring your camera or drone to capture the epic moments and scenery.
We recommend you check the weather prior to your arrival – it can be unpredictable & you want to be prepared.
Group/individuals should always have substantial amounts of water no matter the time of year, and food.
